A complete high-tech plant in Qatar

In this article we present our latest completed job: a complete plant, state-of-the-art in automation and productivity.

Our latest job was done at the request of Qatar Battery Factory, in Qatar. This Middle Eastern country is growing at a fast rate, as witnessed by the pursuit of cutting- edge technology in the new plants being built. 

The plant in question has been completed by our company in its entirety, from the design and definition phase to the on-site arrangement of the machinery. Our machinery guarantees a high production yield thanks to its high level of automation and the minimum need of manpower. 

Our company has taken care not only of the project itself, but also of the supply of the cutting-edge material necessary for the functioning of the plant, from the acid preparation system to the high-tech machinery for the disposal of production waste. 

In brief, DITECEngineering has been responsible for the supply of machinery for the following production phases: 

• Acid preparation: in this phase, the acid that will be used in various stages of the production process is diluted in a fully automated way;
• Formation water baths: these are tanks for the formation of batteries with an integrated control system and maintenance of water temperature; the process is fully automatic;
• Automated system for battery handling (motorized conveyor bels, automatic loading and unloading shuttles, rotation units, synchronization units);
• High-yield machinery for the finishing line;
• Machinery for air and water treatment, filtration and depuration of production residues (scrubberwith complete air suction system, water treatment with chiller, effluent water treatment).

This project has been a technological challenge for our company and another occasion to see realized our studies and our constant research to improve our offer. We believe that the challenge has been met, a fact demonstrated by the satisfaction of Qatar Battery Factory.
